"Exploring the Lyric Cinema" and Third Spaces Transmedia Project 2024

Solo Project - Director/Editor/Writer/etc

Created two mini docs about the Lyric Cinema in Fort Collins and the creative culture surrounding it. Focused on how third spaces serve an important role in fostering positive relationships and community, I also created a 20 minute podcast about the Art to Live grant, two feature articles, a photo story, and an interactive web element, all hosted on a website I designed. For this project, I learned how to set up and operate a DJI gimbal, use professional sound equiptment to record a podcast, and used Lightroom Classic to edit photos. Red Bell Tolls, BEA 48-Hour Film Festival 2026 1st Place

Director of Photography, Writer, Editor

This short film was created for the BEA 48 Hour competition in October 2025, so our small crew had to write, shoot, and edit all of it in that time frame. It was a great experience to practice my skills and was very fun to follow a prompt to come up with a creative story.

reminiscence, 2024

Solo Project for Video Production Class Final

Created as a contemplation on nostalgia and how memories fade as you get older. Archival footage from my own childhood paired with footage I shot of familiar places is supposed to tease the audience at their own feeling of nostalgia. For this project, I used a ZOOM recorder to gather audio and a Sony A7IV camera with a 35-150mm zoom lens.

Honors Thesis Solo Short Documentary

My Honors thesis documentary project follows three voices as they take us through an immersive journey about what it means for humans and the natural world to coexist. I combined footage gathered on a study abroad trip to Costa Rica and footage around Colorado's Front Range with rotoscoped animation, all completed on Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Photoshop and Procreate Dreams. I wanted the handcrafted feeling on this video, so I opted for a hand-drawn title and credit sequence and rotoscoped talking heads.

ROOSTER, 2026

Short Documentary with Tree Stump Films

For this project, we followed a local artist and craftsman who goes by the name Rooster. We wanted to capture the spirit he puts into his work, whether that is banjo making, tattooing, or other artwork. For this project, I helped write the story, shoot footage and conduct interviews, and I served as post production lead and edited most of the video on my own. I was able to practice my storybuilding, sound mixing skills and create a motion graphics credit sequence using a vector image I designed in Illustrator and adding motion in After Effects.

Stills from upcoming Environmental Justice documentary on the community impact of data centers, COMING MAY 2026

Post-Production Lead and Camera Operator

In collaboration with Tree Stump Films, this documentary follows the community impact of the big boom of AI and Data Centers popping up across Northern Colorado and how communities are deeply impacted by the risks the data centers pose to their livelihoods. For this project, I took on the role of lead video editor, and also ran main camera on all main interviews. Featuring Colorado Senator Cathy Kipp, Dr. Stephanie Malin, Professor Sarath Srheedhari, among others, it is an investigative piece that uncovers some of the shady business of Data Centers and how we can help mitigate their effects.

Various Sports Edits for CSU Athletics with Barnfly Productions

Camera Operator and Editor

Shot promotional content for D1 Athletic teams at CSU, including Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Soccer. During the shoot, I focus on what we want the edit to look like and be very intentional with what I capture to prevent overshooting and more work in post-production.
