Designer and Layout
College Ave Magazine is a student-run magazine at CSU covering arts, culture and lifestyle. Using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I completed several layouts for the magazine. I collaborated with the Multimedia Editor and Editor-in-Chief, photographers, writers, and other designers to create each layout according to the feel of the article. Each layout began as a sketch in my notebook with ideas for illustrations, and over the course of a few weeks the designs were finalized and sent for print.
Sassy 'Squatch Mock Drink Label

The objective was to create a mock label for an imagined drink using vector image creation and the pen tool on Adobe Photoshop. Following recent packaging design trends, I used bright colors and fun shapes to entice potential customers. Since I think Sasquatch is so cool, I was inspired to create a craft beer branding based on his awesomeness.
Mock Concert Poster Design, Palace at Ogden Theatre June 2023

The objective was to create a concert poster in Adobe Photoshop using fonts, vector shapes, and other creative elements. I chose to do it based on a concert I saw in June of 2023 that really felt like I was floating. I was inspired by the band's album cover art and the original concert t-shirt from the show. I tried to capture their colorful sound with muted colors to not overwhelm the eye.
